Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique expressed confidence after his team’s 1-0 victory over Brest in the 33rd round of Ligue 1, stating that the league title is effectively sealed. Despite the near-certainty, he emphasized the importance of maintaining concentration in the upcoming matches, including the Champions League final.
“We are champions, I can say that, right? It’s 99.9% decided, and I believe we deserve it,” Enrique said. “We still have two matches left, but we hold a significant advantage in goal difference. Mathematically, we need just one more point, but I think we are already champions. That won’t change how we approach Wednesday’s game or Sunday’s match against Paris FC.”
He added: “We will take these fixtures one by one to reach the Champions League final on May 30 in the best possible condition.”
